Texas Jalapeño Moonshine
The nose will be like a fresh green jalapeño. On your pallet it will taste like a fresh green jalapeño as well but without as much heat. When you first taste it you will feel the temperature rise just a bit, but then it dissipates quickly and has a clean smooth finish. Because the oils from the pepper don't come through in the distillation, the spiciness that a jalapeño usually has doesn't stick to your tongue. At 80 proof it can be enjoyed chilled by itself or you can mix it into some great cocktails. It makes a killer Bloody Mary, and the Mule with a Kick is pretty popular too. Look at our Mixed Drink menu on the tab above, as well as our Drink Recipes tab to learn how to make them.
